Funds of World Investment Opportunities Funds (WIOF) represent a complex range of investment funds which were established in Luxembourg in 1999. The unique WIOF structure allows the investors to choose funds based on their individual needs. The funds are registered for public offer in 12 EU countries, Singapore and South Africa. Currently WIOF offers 20 sub-funds managed by more than 10 investment managers. Julius Baer (Luxembourg) SA is the promoter and the management company of WIOF funds. Main advantages of WIOF funds
The WIOF funds are managed with a unique method where each fund is managed by a different investment manager – a specialist for certain type of investment or region. The investment manager selection is naturally conditioned by meeting certain strict criteria.
Investors may invest not only in EUR or USD but also in other seven currencies. It is not necessary to convert the „domestic currency“ to „foreign currency“ which helps the investors save on fees connected with currency exchange.
The opportunity to invest not only into funds which apply ordinary front-end charges (Class A) but also into funds with no front-end charges (Class B).
